  Very cold in the winter- specially at night it feels like if you were sleeping in an igloo :) also the coldest toilet seat in Scotland. It's a squeak central too- absolutely everything squeaks... floors, doors and even beds! On the plus side- hosts are nice. Good food and they also provide very good baby sitting service.
